What is Paytm: Paytm is a platform for digital payments which is owned by One97 communications. Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the owner of One97 Communication Limited started Paytm in 2010. Paytm started off as a mobile recharge website for prepaid connections and from there, it took off to become a leading e-commerce site.
Paytm stands for "Pay Through Mobile". It allows you to transfer cash into the integrated wallet via online banking, debit cards, and credit cards. You even transfer by depositing cash via select banks and partners. The money in your Paytm wallet allows you to pay for a number of goods without using cash.

How to creating a Paytm account

Adding money to your Paytm wallet:
Before you add money to your Paytm Wallet you need to set up an account on it by using your mobile number and email ID. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you add money to your Paytm Wallet:
-Open Paytm App
-On the app home screen, tap on the ‘Add Money’ option
-Enter the amount that you wish to transfer to the Paytm Wallet
-Tap on the ‘Add Money’ button to proceed with the transaction
-Select the payment option (Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking) through which you want to transfer money to the Paytm Wallet
-Enter your bank or card details such as Card number, expiry date, and CVV to with the transaction
-Tap on the ‘Pay Now’ button to complete the transaction

-Enter the mobile number of the person to whom you want to send the money
-Enter the desired amount
